Baby #3- More Thoughts

We have two weeks exactly until we find out which sex this baby is, and I am very excited and a little nervous. I am expecting for the tech to say "It's a boy!" because that is all I have ever heard and frankly, another boy would be wonderful to me. I love raising my boys. I love encouraging and pushing them towards masculine traits that God expects and honors. I love being "tough" with them and saying things like " Be tough", "Be kind and gentle with the ladies", "no excuses", "take responsibilty." So on and so forth. I am in boy --> men mode.

On the other hand, part of me "feels" like there is a girl in there, because I have had a different pregnancy in a lot of ways and all I think about are girl names. Now, if I'm wrong, oh well. I am surely fine with that. Ramble. ramble, ramble.

Kyle has officially vetoed the name Betsy from the radar, so off to the drawing board again.....He encouraged me to not think about it until we find out because he knows that from time to time I just go on and on and try to find that right name. (Just like I am doing now!!) So, I totally agree with him, however I came across two that I like very much.

Glory.......and.........Lyla.

Glory because, well, woman is man's glory! and we are to be reflecting God's glory all the time. What a beautiful honor to have that name associated with my daughter. Lyla because it is a lovely feminine name and it sounds soft to me.

If it is a boy, then Kyle has chosen.......Canon Emmitt. Canon means "church official" and we like it because it reminds of of the canon of scripture. Emmitt after Kyle's dad (his middle name) and he thinks it flows well.

Anyway, it is pretty awesome that the Lord knows all of those details and He provides for us perfectly and also perfectly for our little one!

Just in case it's a girl, here is the bedding I would love to get! ;)

I met a woman named Glory this year and she was such a kind and Godly woman that I definitely left thinking that it would make a perfect baby girl name! I even suggested it to Autumn--except she is having a boy... So I will just pray that if not this time, that you have a little Glory someday! :-)

I like the name Grace also..just a thought. Hope you are all well and keeping warm. If it is a girl or a boy your California family will love them so much. Mom

I love the name Glory! I'll be praying for a girl for you just so you can use such a great name. :) Hope all is well!

Yes! Name your daughter Glory! I really like that name. It's on our list of "keepers". But I like Canon too. It goes so well the the boys' names.

Uh, why has no one said this yet?-> The cutest bedding EVER!!!! I LOVE it. I would totally pick that too!! I liked Allison's bedding because it was soft and feminine. This one is feminine too but much more fun and cheerful! I just love it. I can't wait until the big day! We will be the last to know because of the time difference and all, but don't worry, I know if we were close we would be the second people to find out! J/K. We Love you all.

Kyle and Paige,

A few comments: 1) If it is a boy, name him Augustine. 2) Lyla is better than Glory. 3) Hopefully, if it is in fact a girl, she won't look like Kyle with a wig. Really hope for number 3.
