Our Precious Gunnar

Keep us in your prayers Tuesday as we head to Dr. David Pratt who is our latest and greatest Ophthalmologist for Gunnar. Two months ago, we received a referral to Dr. Shelley a pediatric ophthalmologist and learned that Gunnar has a condition called ptosis. It is congenital, meaning it has been so since birth. We always thought that he had "sleepy" eyes, but in fact it can cause a number of potential problems in the future, therefore we are going to find out when we can get the corrective surgery he needs in order to prevent those problems from arising. The good news is that he is in the Hands of God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth. And He is good. Therefore we have no worries, because He will care for our needs. Pray that Dr. Pratt would be wise in discerning when and how the help might be administered to Gunnar. Thank you!!!

I will be praying for little Gun Gun, your doctor, and for the rest of your family! We do indeed serve a good God and he is sovereign too which is so encouraging in times like this! Love you, Pattersons!

Hey Friends...we'll definitely be praying for you and Gunnar. Glad that he can have this done now rather than later, when he is more likely to remember it. I know it's harder on mom and dad than on the little ones!
