My sweet little niece Trudy and Gunnar on the swing....I love watching them get bigger and they are so sweet to one another. We had a blast and love being able to go and enjoy ourselves! Praise God for His goodness!
P.S. Not feeling any contractions lately. Two weeks to go and are looking forward to it! I'll keep you posted. We have an appt. on Tues!

Two Weeks and 3 Days Left

After an appointment yesterday, everything is great. Baby is cooperating as well as can be expected and we are all registered for our Birth Center. I am feeling changes in my body, so things are working! Kyle is very excited to meet our little guy and I am excited to see what he is going to look like! Everyone has been very gracious to us and many ways, so thank you all for your thoughtfulness and support! God provides in every way and more! "Talk" to you soon!

3 Weeks to Go!

Well, progression has been the same this past week as it was the week before. Things are good and we are prepared (I think) for the arrival of Rowen Daniel.

We had a great time at the fair on Friday with all of the Pattersons. Gunnar rode on his first ride with cousin Trudy. They went on the giant swing (the one where you go in big circles while elevating up and down.) He loved it and waved every time he past by. What a big guy! Gunnar loves Trudy especially because she acts like a mini mama to him! :) After eating our Krusty Pup, Papa, Dada, Uncle Jeff, and Nana took the kids to the Rodeo. Kyle said he loved it!

Aunt Gail is coming to visit us this weekend and we always look forward to seeing her! We will take some pictures for you and I will get some up of the fair.

God is kind to us all the time and we are thankful for His Providence. Remember, "there is a time for everything", says Solomon! Sometimes it's not in our timing though. Thankfully God is wiser and Sovereign over all!

Love, Paige

36 Weeks and Counting!

Here is another baseball game picture courtesy of Alison and Joel who invited us to tag along! We are slowly but surely preparing for baby Rowen this week and have all our bags packed just in case. Kyle thinks I will push this baby out early. I, on the other hand, would love that to be true, but am very leary! Time will tell us, and in the mean time will trust that the Lord will keep our little guy safe and growing well. We can't wait for this new adventure!

Baby Appointment

I had a normal check-up with one of my midwives yesterday. I had told her in passing that I had already started having sharp painful contractions occasionally. She in return asked if I had wanted her to check my progression, and of course I said "yes please!"

Who knew I would already be 1 cm dialated and 80% effaced! This doesn't necessarily mean I will have the baby early. Many women walk around 1-3cm dialated for some time without going into labor. So, my hopes are not up for a sooner D-Day, but I am certainly encouraged that my body is in pain for good reason! Yeah! Who knows, maybe Rowen will be a bit early! My skin sure hopes so! :)

Thanking God for His Care!

5 Weeks To Go....Zoo...Baseball Game....Wedding

Yes, time is winding down quickly as it always does. We are getting ready for our new baby boy Rowen!
Hope you all are enjoying life even in the midst of difficult times. James reminds us that our trials are for the purpose of godliness if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, so be thankful for them! God is so good all the time, may we never be ungrateful for His perfect Providence!

Here are some pictures from this month. The pictures of Gunnar are from the zoo. The belly shot is 33 weeks pregnant. The "dressy" shots are from our friends wedding in Everett yesterday. Enjoy!

7 Weeks To GO!

Well we are in the home stretch....Kyle and I are officially flabbergasted that we are having another baby! We keep pinching ourselves and saying phrases like, "Oh, wait. We can't do that! I might be in labor!" or "What was I thinking babe, we will have a newborn around that time!" Guess we have been good at keeping things going, but we are really starting to slow down and rest. It is nice!

Along with settling, we realized that Babies 'R Us has a fantastic deal when you register! Whatever is left on your registry, you get at a discount. So we headed down there and had so much fun "shooting" the things we are going to need like diapers, pacifiers, bottles, MYLICON!
Kyle of course had a blast playing with the gun! It took us back to our engagement!

We took an updated picture of baby belly, but let our sister Alison use the camera for the weekend. I am excited to post it to show it. But let me give you fair warning....it looks like my 38 week shot when I was pregnant with Gunnnar. You can let me know what you think!

Anyway, we are so thankful for this coming season and praying that everyone is loving Christ, seeking His guidance, and taking every opportunity to thank Him for His provision. He is good to us all!
